The new year has started out good for my wife and I.Many of you are aware of my battles with my health starting in 2005.Cancer and bone disease made for some hard roads for me to travel these past few years. The end of 2007 added diabetes to my plate of things to deal with.
You know what? We just moved in to a different place,a nice townhouse from a very small apartment. My wife is happy that much of her things that were in storage are with her again. Many of my favorite things were also in storage and it sure feels good having them around again.Mentally I feel better than I have for a long time.
Out my window right now the snow is falling gently and the pines ' branches are drooping from the weight of the powdery snow.It is beautiful. There is so much to be thankful for if you just look around and pay close attention.I have this nice place and lots of friends. My children are wonderful. They worked themselves silly moving all our belongings yesterday. We had a good day even with all the hard work.I tried to keep them laughing,at least I can still handle that end of things!
Again, it is so nice to be back here with my friends. Some are betting I won't last long before messing up but just watch me.I am hanging around this time.

Glad to see you back, Darrell! Be happy playing your banjo, let the other guy play his, and leave all that silliness behind in the past, where it belongs. I hope to see you here for a long time to come! regards, Stanger
