Hello,
Its a Kurt Simmerman mountain dulcimer. Spanish Curly cedar and figured mahogany on the back. It fingers and sounds like a dream.
Unfortunately, Kurt Simmerman died unexpectedly last month. They say he just fell over in his shop while making dulcimers. :(
I bought three of his very fine dulcimers and will greatly miss him and his dulcimer talent.
