I'm having a custom clawhammer banjo built. I have access to local yellow cedar and it would be awesome to have it be part of my banjo. Has anyone had any experience with using yellow cedar as a wood for banjos or is a waste of time. Thanks

You need to ask your question(s) on a forum. Blogs get few reads.
Forums are located on the left hand side of the page. Under forums, click browse forums, scroll to appropriate one (building, set up) and click on it. In upper left hand side of page click on post new topic. Give your topic a subject, ask your question(s) and either click subscribe to topic or post reply. Then wait for answers.
