I just managed to get a Vega VIP made by Martin from possibly the 1970s..I'm on the search for a Gold Tone vellum to replace the plastic like one it currently wears. As a guitarist I'm looking forward to playing and writing on a different sounding, playing stringed instrument such as this. Any tips on decent string sets to look for or how to look after these fragile instruments let me know!
Matt

You should ask your question(s) on one of the forums. Forums get more reads than blogs.
Forums are located on the left hand side of the page. Under Forums, click browse forums, scroll to appropriate one and click on it. Then click on new topic (left hand side of page), give your thread a subject, ask your question(s) and click on post reply.
