Hi banjo pickers...
I have a Fender Deluxe 5 string banjo and it weighs quite a bit. I was thinking of selling it and getting a lighter one. However, I want it to sound good also. I know that my Fender must have a brass tone ring which makes it heavier. Ive had a cheep banjo before with a wood tone ring and it sounded pretty good.
Can I get suggestions on what to get so my old back...(70 yrs. old almost) can play without so much weight on my shoulders? lol
Thank you so much. Have a great Christmas and thank you ahead of time.
