I am now focussed on getting the last few 'Clawhammer Banjo From Scratch' tunes playable with the 'Old Time Jam Machine'.
Last thing I did was a clean up of Over The Waterfall. I had a slightly blurred pinkie/ring finger section. So I slowed it down, sorted it out (it was flat of pinkie as opposed to tip pressing the string' and worked it back up to speed.
I have also been working on Spotted Pony. I have this tune error free and clean sounding, so it's just a matter of bringing it up to speed. I've come up 10bpm over the last couple of days and am now at around 95 comfortable, 105 on the edge. It's got a bit more to go as the OTJ plays this one fast compared to most.
I have started on Year of Jubilo today. Started by slowing it down and getting control of what goes where variation wise. I am prone to swapping variations, which I suppose isn't a bad thing in a way, but | want control over what I put where. I started without metronome, and once drilled in I've now started at an extremely lowly 70bpm. I think this one will be a slow improver then once I have it sorted it should speed up quickly.
Still practising singing to Little Maggie as well. I've started capoing it to A instead of G, my tiny hands just play so much easier with a slightly shorter scale. I should really consider a short scale banjo I think, but they are few and far between in the uk. Only the deering parlour seems available reasonably cheaply and it isn't scooped which would probably annoy me as my thumb plays in my current scoop.

Today (Fri 7th) Spotted Pony showed a step improvement from yesterday. 100bpm was comfortable, 105bpm still ok, and managed(just) to muster through at 115bpm. An initial playalong to OTJ had proved virtually impossible, but after working up through the speeds as described on the metronome a second attempt was much more successful. It did break down and wasn't comfortable but shows I'm getting close. I think I'll have to be comfortable at 115bpm before successfully playing to OTJ.
A pause as pinkie tired.
Later in the day some Angelina Baker with lyrics and Little Maggie(in A) with lyrics. Speeding up on Little Maggie to 100bpm showed still singable.
