This is the July edition of my Foggy Mountain Banjo project.

I learned this tune mostly by ear from listening to Bennett Sullivan playing the main break at a slow pace. I also listened to Earl Scruggs playing the tune on Foggy Mountain Banjo to see what I could pick up by ear directly from Earl. I also consulted the Scruggs book to get some of the variations I couldn't figure out exactly. The ending is my attempt to reproduce Earl's ending. It's not tabbed out in the book, but I think I've come up with a reasonable facsimile. I've since looked at a video of Earl playing it, and it looks like he does something very different, but I'm happy with the ending I've got here.
I also threw in my own up the neck variation, just for fun.
Next time I plan to record Sally Ann.
