I stopped by the beach yesterday, and I pulled out my banjo and I went for it on the board walk. It was a beautiful day! The sun was gorgeous! The seas sounded beautiful. People were having a lovely day.
I pulled out some of my sheet music, and I remembered how to do Part B of Blackberry Blossom. I did some drilling on first two bars and then doing the Forward Backward roll and repeating Blackberry Blossom Part A. That was great. I did my 12 Bar Chord Progression, with different rolls! I love my rolls! I did backward forward roll, mixed roll, alternative mixed roll, forward roll, starting on B forward roll, starting on G,. I really enjoyed doing some jamming and I really love doing some noodling with my | G | Em | C | D7 | chords. That so resonates for me! I I did some strumming, and I did some soft strumming, loud strumming, fast and slow strumming. Okay my fast strumming is everyone else's slow strumming, but it is improving each day. also did Good Night Ladies! Parts A and B of my untitled piece!
My use of my body is poor, but I am doing The Alexander Technique! I tend to stop breathing and freeze up when playing for awhile, and my arms and chest contract. So I am going for more short practising, more often, rather than long practising sessions.
"Gosh Darn, Great Banjo Day!"

How awesome, I could feel the sandy, salty, windy beach.
I am soon to be practicing some banjoy rolls as my Scrugg's book came. What a great music book about banjo in general! Now, looking for a BG resonator beater banjo for beaches and such places.
Loved your post.

The weather sounds fabulous. Pick your banjo up and enjoy. Sit your banjo back down and continue to enjoy!
