As for those that have been waiting for an order, I want to apologize that I’ve not gotten back in touch. I had a busy summer working and college this semester has been more intense than usual (lots of assignments and due dates...).
For those waiting on gourd orders, I doubt I’m going to get to many of them. I’ve been growing both bottle and canteen gourds since May, and out of that, I’m only going to get a few that are usable. Otherwise I’m going to have to look elsewhere to do them.
Those waiting on mountain banjos, I have most of the materials, just not enough time. By the time the weekend comes, I’m to the point of not wanting to do anything.
I’m looking at Thanksgiving break to get a chance to work on them.
If you requested a banjo with no specific details or customization, I may make a couple (if I have time) and post them in the classifieds.
When (and if) I get these orders completed, I won’t be taking on anymore. I really hate to have anyone wait for something they’ve been expecting for a long time and it never transpire, especially when I can’t get to them. I hope you all understand my current situation.
