Well, really enjoyed the get-together in Stalybridge on Saturday. Met up with a whole bunch of Hangout members....but I wish we'd all worn BHO name badges ! Had to do my workshop first, as Andy was delayed in traffic.
I hope it was useful to the attendees...some very nice banjos in the room. After the workshops and lunch, we did a throw-together band performance featuring Tom Travis, Andy Anderson, Stu Williams, Bob Stevenson and myself.
We had a good jam session later in a local bar, nice mixture of folk musicians and singers, and not overcrowded. Thanks to Eddie (Alfiedog) for organising it all, and providing lunch.

Thank you Jim for taking the time and effort to come down and see us. It was great to meet you, hear your story of how you started "Banjo, banjo banjo, ...", and pick up some top tips. But hearing your playing was just great.
