Hi Folks,
Clawcamp is over and was a great success. Looking towards setting up a winter camp in Tucson. Proposed dates are March 10-12, 2017 but February 10-12 is also a possibility. Let me know what you think.
So, busy summer getting the place set to sell. Let me know if you are interested in this beautiful SE Ohio Appalachian homestead.

Made it back home safe and sound. Just wanted to tell you again how great the weekend turned out. Appreciate your hospitality and the trailer hookup. The class was outstanding with a tremendous amount of information that will certainly keep me busy for a while. Hi Dan,
Dan Levenson does it again! Claw Camp East 2016 was wonderful! This was my second Claw Camp (my first was Claw Camp East 2015), and I have returned home feeling inspired and anxious to play more. I have truly never been so engaged by an instructor. Part of Camp’s success is that the number of attendees is limited, so Dan can give each camper his personal attention. Not only that, but Dan has the great ability to discern the best way for individuals to absorb information, and tailors his teaching style and the material he covers to match the individual. He frequently pushes you for feedback, so both you and he can stay in-line with your goals for the weekend. And the setting is perfect. Jamming on the front porch of the Homestead is just the way the old-timers would have done it. It’s definitely a great experience, and I look forward to doing it again.
Thanks again! And I just love my new banjo! Have a wonderful rest of the summer!

I would agree with everyone above. The camp was a nice banjo focused weekend I was expecting. Dan was a great host and a wonderful teacher.The conversations with Dan and the other campers were just as enjoyable as the class work.
