The last few days, I’ve been thinking about Suwannee Banjo camp and the great experiences I had that weekend. I want to thank Ken Perlman and Chuck Levy for putting together so many exceptional banjo players in one place. I cannot meet Pete Seeger, Earl Scruggs, Tommy Jarrell, Fred Cockerham or other earlier banjo players that advanced the art of banjo. Camp allowed me to meet many fantastic players that are advancing the art today. The weekend of listening, learning and jamming with camp instructors and other students is a time that I will always treasure. I enjoyed all of the workshops and concerts and feel I have taken home new insights that will improve my playing and understanding. I thank all the instructors and participants for contributing to the camp. The experience was simply awesome!
When I have more time, I’ll tell more of my camp experiences. It was a special time.

Hi, Carol. I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed the camp. I think you will see benefits from that experience far into the future.

I used to go to American Banjo Camp (2009, 10, and 11). Loved every minute of it, but can no longer afford to go. I'd recommend the experience to anyone, tho!
