I went to see my son, Darcy's band Flash Lightnin' opening for Zed Zed Top last night in Peterborough, Ontario. They did a tour with Billy, Dusty and Frank last year and they played three shows with them this March.
The picture above (Darren Glover-guitar and Darcy Yates-bass) was from the Peterborough Examiner. Playing in a hockey arena to thousands of people is something I'll never experience, but it was a thrill to see my boy and his buddy Darren up there.
