I usually take a banjo and some tab and try to improve my skills when I go to scout camp for a week. I have plenty of time when the boys are off to merit badge classes during the day. This past week I was at Hinckley Scout Reservation in the Uinta Mountains of northern Utah. I worked on "Shady Grove" and "Arkansas Traveller" from "Clawhammer Banjo: Repertoire and Technique" by David Holt. I've found the video lessons and tabs to be very helpful.
