Due to having a day job, I don't have lots of time for building. Nights and weekends are pretty much it and when I perform almost every Friday or Saturday with the two bands I am in, there are not of hours left for building! However, there are some hours available!
In the making are: Two integrated Ebony wood tone ring pots, one made with maple and one made with walnut. Four brass tone ring pots...two Maple and two Walnut. One 12" Dobson Tone ring (I havent decided if I will be making it from walnut or maple yet). Then finally, the one Tubaphone tone ring pot made of maple.
This list is very general and there are lots of details about inlay and such that I am working out as I go. Five of the 7 pots are all but finished. All the necks are rough cut and leveled. All of the hardware is purchased (with exception of 5 sets of brass tuners).
I have pictures posted on my Facebook page that I generally keep up to date about the banjo progress as well as other work I am doing in repair/restoration. For some reason I am unable to post them here using the Facebook links so you'll have to go to the page. Its all public so even if you dont have a Facebook account, you can still see them.
Take care
