Just noticed that I haven't posted a BHO blog entry in almost a year. High time time for an update. One of my current favorite string bands in the Pacific Northwest is the Barn Owls from Seattle. Here's a recent video of them in action:

This is a masterpiece, the fiddler's intonation is spot on especially on the double stops (those aren't easy ). Reminds me of the time when I was workin at a local music store and they had violin lessons for the first time and so many folks came in tryna learn fiddle. Good Times!
