I dont do much on Banjo hangout so I have been neglecting it severely. Last time I posted I had a band named Southern Missouri Stringband. Well It has since dissolved and another band started, and also dissolved so I am currently playing solo with the occasional aid to other musicians. I have an updated website at http://jeremymyers.info and a facebook account at https://www.facebook.com/SimplyJeremyMyers

As a curiosity, if your care to answer, did these bands dissolve due to lack of interest in folks coming/paying to hear Old Time traditional music, or just the ordinary folks movin on or not getting along. I have found in Kansas, it is an awfully hard music to get people to go too far out of their way to listen to. Unless, you are another OT musician. Even try to sell it on the dance aspect, but folks seem to want to know the tune and hear a big set of drums, before they feel they can dance to it. Heck, it was dance music, eh. Brad
