So that was that.
At my last posting here, it was about all the excitement of playing the Winnipeg Folk Festival. Now it's all about what next. I still have banjos and that strange sickness that makes one wish to play the things.
With the recent retirement of my band, "The Magnificent Sevens" I have a lot more free time. We almost toured Europe, but the thought of such fun was too much for some in the group. Maybe someday a new Winnipeg band will make that journey across the Atlantic.
For now, I'll be optimistically looking forward to a world free from War and Lies. I'm hoping "They" don't blow it all up in the next few days, and create a toxic waste land out of our planet. There is so much hypocrisy to draw from, I'm sure we'll all be able to write some anti war songs after we see the inhumanity unfold in Syria over the next few days. When will all the murdering stop?!
Does anyone remember
