so, I did the boatman challenge on my little gourd fretless. It was great because it got me going on the fretless, which I always thought I'd play a lot when I got it, but then didn't, much. The thing on my page said I was fourth, but then it might say that to everybody, right? (Standard thing to say at Clifftop is "I took 6th place" because they announce 5 finalists, ha ha!)

Hi Hilarie, I would have no trouble believing you were fourth place or even higher. You sounded rich and soulful on that little gourd. Well done!

Hilarie,-I voted for you! It sounded really good! The gourd banjo was a good idea-very different from the others!

For what it's worth, yours was my favourite. I'm a sucker for the gourd sound, and I played your entry about fifteen times.
