During my transition to a new place, there will be a (short as possible) down time when Im not able to keep the shop running. Moving all the tools, benches, instruments and getting back up and running will be a big task. Just finding a suitable location is proving challenging but God is there and he will take care of it.
In that downtime I just hope folks who may have called me for work wont be too put off bt it. I really cant afford to lose much business but if you have an immediate repair need, I understand that you'll need to look elsewhere. My lessons will be on hold for as short a time as possible too while I get my internet back up.
This whole separation thing has been stressful beyond belief. I lost about 12 lbs in just a week and barely slept a few hours a night. But Im eating better and actually put on a little weight and sleep much better. I'm still praying for a healed and stronger marriage but that's not up to me. Whatever happens, God will take care of both of us.
Oh, Im also 'downsizing' and getting rid of a few instruments and banjo parts too. None of them have sentimental value and is just stuff that i have accumulated. During this whole event It has reinforced something I already knew but got fuzzy about, which is things don't matter. Check the classifieds for a prewar parts banjo, which was my road axe for many years and some great parts-some prewar. Im not giving this away but I will make it a very good deal. I have a great Rk-36 banjo that Recording King gave me in an endorsement deal and its all the road banjo I need.
Thanks again for the support i received on my other blog about this. You find out who cares about you when things get bad. Just wanted yall to know that I love all of ya..banjo brothers and sisters!

Thanks guys! On the good news front, I find that my 2nd cousin, who lives 2 miles from here, has a beautiful 1600 square foot rental. Brick, 6 rooms 2 full baths, fully finished basement too and heat pump plus monitor backup system, paved private drive. And to top that off he has it fully furnished with very nice things, all new kitchen appliances! I couldnt afford it though and it appeared I couldnt take it. He asked what i could pay right now and how long I would need it . That was also an issue, since I have no clue how long this separation will be..couple months, or out the door for good (praying not). I spit out a price that is 200 less and he is considering it.
Wow, that would be just an awesome grab. God is working

It's good to hear from you John. Thanks for the update. We really miss your contributions here on the BHO. I know that everything will work itself out eventually. Keep looking at the positives and don't dwell on the negatives! Let me know if you need some help with the move.

John, I'm still not working regularly so if you need help, I'd be happy to drive up there and help with the heavy lifting and grunt work.
Drop me a line if that would be of help, I can be there day after tomorrow. Just gas money and feed me and you got a worker, and I take orders pretty well :)

It's times like this that you must be stronger than you knew you were capable of. Your focus has to come into you being the best you can be. That will shine through. Call me if you need anything.
