Lost Granada

Posted by quox on Wednesday, June 26, 2013

Ever "Lose" an instrument? not fun, especially when that instrument is the one that got you interested in music in the first place.

That Banjo is now gone from my possession now Taken from my van after a gig in Providence, RI. I have done the normal stuff (I think) to get it back.

I miss my banjo and want it back. what to do now?

Matt, what a terrible thing to happen. Hopefully the thief will be caught and your banjo returned with no damage.

I presume you've contacted the police and put in a report about the theft. You might check pawn shops in the area to see if someone pawns it. You might also check with any music stores in the area, maybe the thief might try to either sell it or trade it in on something else -- if the store owners/employees are aware of a lost/stolen banjo, they might be able to help you catch the thief.

Lastly, you might want to put your information in the other banjo related forums -- they get more reads than the blogs and perhaps people will help you watch for your stolen banjo. Maybe if you post in the forum others will have more ideas on how you might find it.
