Hi Janna, I just watched you play the banjo. You are really good. I am a beginner. I retired a year ago and started learning the banjo. Do you use finger pix? I can't tell from the video. How much do you practice each day?

I play frequently without (sans) picks. It's much easier and speed is increased exponentially when needed on certain tunes. And, it feels like one is more connected to the instrument; of course, if performing in a band or with others it's best to use picks!
