Our new house...we just moved was burglarized here in Argentina....they stole all my banjos, including my new Pisgah...my wife and I are devastated! We weren't home thank God...but now I have no banjo! They also stole our computers so we don-t have a way to connect.
I will share more details as I can.....my beloved Pisgah is gone >*

That's terrible Eric. I guess there is a positive side to being homebound. If anyone tries to take my instruments they will have to take me too! : ) I wish you luck in finding these morons,

First, I am glad you and yoru family are safe, but what a terrible thing to happen. And such a cool new banjo. A fenced banjo ought to be easy to track down in Argentina, hopefully. Brad

Ouch! Sorry to hear about this. I know the feeling. I hope you get everything back. Sometimes these guys are so dumb, they leave a trail. Here's hoping that you and your banjo are reunited soon.
Monday, May 6, 2013 @10:13:04 AM
trust me these guys are pretty dumb.....

Eric - We're all praying that you get your banjo back. I can relate, as I lived in south America for a number of years (Caracas). While there had my car stolen with my guitar in the trunk. Got the car back, but not the guitar. The dummies had the car parked up in the barrio, with the radio blaring - drinking rum. The neighbors called the cops and they were arrested. The registration in the glove box said "American Embassy." Like you said - they are so dumb! They are very likely to have a very hard time fencing your banjos in Argentina!

Thanks to all of you...I ask you to believe with me for the return of my Pisgah and in once piece also. The dragnet has been spread...I have alot of locals on this. My wife went to a local music store just a few minutes ago where it has been reported that the owner has bought stolen instruments in the past ( what a jerk!
We will also be checking pawn shops but they are in a part of the city that is very dangerous...
If he has my Pisgah he's goin down...
