If any of you want to come see me at MerleFest, I'll be there Thursday thru Sat. the 25th thru the 27th. Bring your banjo and I'll be glad to check it over. I'll have some t-shirts, hats, strings, bridges, polishes, cd's of my band from the '70's and '80's and the Anthology, Field Service Manuals, and my tools for set ups. I might even have a few used banjos for sale. If any one wants me to bring anything else, please let me know before Wednesday of next week.

Geoff, Ray from Australia. Would have loved to have been able to be over there, for the Festival. I own the first banjo (Bellflower) you built in 1987. No. 3128) It is still unmarked and in mint condition. Plays and sounds beautiful. Just like to thank you for this beautiful instrument, I would never part with it. ( I also am a 1943 model. 70 yrs. in Sept.) Once again, congratulations on your wonderful products and career and thank you. Ray Phelan

Sorry I won't be able to meet you. Glad your Bellflower is behaving and playing well. Let's have a glass of Foster's or some Little Penguin Merlot on our 70th birthdays, yours in Sept. and mine on June 13th. Cheers and G'day mate,
