After months of looking, my wife and I today at 4pm are putting a deposit down on a new home! A duplex, only 7 years old, with beautiful ceramic tile floors and a wood ceiling. It has a "cabin" style roof and a loft...yes a little loft which my wife has said will be practice room/studio....we are SOOOOOO excited! We have been saving and saving and saving!! More pictures to come soon.
Did I say a "banjo loft" practice room?

BTW: I am around and work with a zillion "Pfeiffer's" and "Peifer's" in NW Kansas. Very common name around Hays.

Thanks I hope to post pics of it soon. Don't have much to decorate it with, but I will soon. We get the keys next week and will start moving ( it's only about 8 blocks or so from where we live now ) so it shouldn't take long to move in. It's really cool, it has a little window and a peaked roof, very intimate, perfect for practicing the ole banjer.

Rinemb - My grandpa George Pfeiffer was from Richmond Indiana....but he is not my dads biological father so no actual blood relation. My dads real fathers last name was GilMartin and he died of alcoholism unfortunately.

I was in the U.S. Army Rotary Wing Flight School with a Randy Pfeiffer many, many years ago. I believe he was from the Savannah, Georgia area. Anyway, congrats on the new home and I'm sure you're "banjo loft" will become a source of great enjoyment for you. May The Lord greatly bless you and your family.
