This Week's "Learn for Less!" Deal - Murphy Method's "Beginning Banjo Vol 1"

like this

We're going to start featuring a particular banjo lesson DVD which you can purchase from our video lessons catalog at a very good discount for a limited time. I'm doing this to

  1. give members a good deal on the most popular videos and
  2. to help get the word out about our great video catalog since a lot of members don't know about it.

Did you know the catalog now supports tablets and smart phones? It's great! I've been using it for my own banjo practice, playing the videos on my iPhone.

To kick this idea off, I thought I would feature "Beginning Banjo Vol 1" from The Murphy Method. This is the top selling video in our catalog, and for good reason--it's a great way to "get rolling" on bluegrass banjo.

Now through Saturday, March 23rd you can use the promo code "BHODEAL" when buying the video through our catalog to get $10 off the regular price of $29.95. That's a sweet deal!

Here is the full DVD description:

Beginning Banjo Volume 1: If you've never played banjo before, this is the place to start! We teach you all the basics of three-finger bluegrass banjo picking. Each tune is explained slowly and clearly, note-by-note. We leave nothing to chance! Build a strong foundation and develop your ear as you learn to play. No Tab.

Banjo In The Hollow, Cripple Creek, Cumberland Gap, Foggy Mountain Breakdown, and John Hardy. (1 hour 50 minutes)

1 hour and 50 minutes of quality instruction for $19.95. You can't beat that with a stick!

I have learned more from Murphy Henry's Beginning Banjo Volume 1 than any other instruction including camps. I was looking for the DVD this weekend so I could practice playing along with it at speed (a great way to practice) and could not find it. Perfect timing.

I've learned a lot from the DVD's myself--I think it's an excellent way to get moving on bluegrass banjo.

Now this is an offer I can't refuse. Already downloaded it. That was the easy part. Now to the learning bit. Guess that will take a little longer :-) Thanks Eric

I'm taking lessons right now from Murphy's daughter Casey. :D Really excited about it.

Casey is great--a talented picker! I was chatting with her on the phone just yesterday.

Just bought this yesterday. I'm not real good with tabs so this is perfect for me. I love the way it's taught. Learn by note, not reading a paper. Thanks BHO!
