Wintergrass is Feb 28- Mar 3 this year. I am fortunate to go to a lot of festivals and events for Nechville, but Wintergrass has a special place in my heart.
It was the first Wintergrass that made me realize how much I missed playing music and nudged me back into it. And it was at Wintergrass that I first met Tom Nechville. Little did I know that one day I'd be working with him on a daily basis.
This year, I'll be working the Wintergrass booth with my dear friend Ron Clark. A beautiful Phantom will be offered for raffle. It plays and sounds every bit as good as it looks.
I look forward to seeing and playing a couple of tunes with both old and new friends. Be sure to stop by and pick one.

Hi Al,
This is Jerome, winner of that beautiful Phantom. I've had it home for two days and have simply run out of superlatives to describe it. Thank you a thousand times for the introduction to the instrument, and while I can't speak for Wintergrass, I know they love you, too.

The feeling is quite mutual, Jerome. Its great to see that banjo go to a loving home and to get to visit a little on Sunday!
