What's "The Banjo in America"? I play over 250 years of music, from West African ekonting music, to 19th century minstrel banjo, early 20th century classic/ragtime and folk and bluegrass styles on up to 9 different historical banjos. I also play generous helpings of original music written in three-finger style, especially from my new CD "In Good Company," featuring 26 guest artists including the Infamous Stringdusters, Tim O'Brien, Laurie Lewis, Joy Kills Sorrow, Mike Marshall, Darol Anger, Tashina & Tristan Clarridge and many others.
