I had the old tone ring (no hole) replaced in my old 33' Gibson Mastertone TB-3 five-string conversion which I bought in the late 1990's. The old replaced tone ring has K-90 stamped on it underneath. Does anyone know what type of ring this might be. I was thinking it must be a Kulesh ring but am not sure about the '90'.
I understand that the Kulesh Vintage-20 rings have the RWK stamp and a serial number on the underside and the Kulesh/McPeake rings, also with 20 holes, have a "CM" stamped into the underside as well, to avoid confusion. Wondering if Kulesh was stamping the no-hole rings with K-90.
