Can't believe Dave's gone, what a loss to us all. I'm so glad I shook his hand a few times and told him how good I thought he was. When Dave first shaved his beard off, i didn't recognize him, but there was never no mistaking the sound of his playing. The towns where he played will miss him and people will wonder where he is. I feel so sorry for his family. Bill.

Yes what a talant!! i did'nt think when i saw him on youtube 12 month ago for the first time i would be going out to buy my first banjo and learning to play, i must say it knocked me sick when i found out of his passing. So a big thank you to you Dave for giving me a great pass time and lots of enjoyment.
