I'd be willing to bet that this head will contribute to some real ancient tones for a happy picker.

The owner of this banjo wants a new head for this awesome old Dobson rim. He also wants a few spares for others in his collection. Installing heads on vintage hardware is not "cut-and-dried" like the brand new rims that I normally use for pre-mounts. Old parts are not perfectly round .... and the tolerences are sometimes very tight. But I like a challange. I think this calfskin turned out great. I'm working on another goat skin today ... one more to go after that.
