Greetings Banjo Friends
Well I'm finished with summer concert work and ready to get back into some Internet fun with cello banjos. I'm looking forward to uploading more videos with the Gold Tone CEB-5 and CEB-4, the five and four string versions. My CEB-4 was just optimized and I'm enjoying it in cello tuning, and capoed on the 7th for GDAE.
My interest in cello banjos is twofold: I'm a cello banjo specialist and dealer for Gold Tone - and it's my favorite instrument.
Here's an endorsement from Wayne Rogers, president of Gold Tone:
"Occasionally, a Gold Tone dealer takes a special interest in a particular product and gives it his all. Paul Roberts of BanjoCrazy.com has set up his site featuring our cello banjos and has provided history, interviews, playing techniques, collections of music and videos, and a wealth of information on the specifications. If you’re interested in learning more about cello banjos, visit BanjoCrazy.com and talk to Paul who is an authority on this special instrument.” Sincerely yours, Wayne A. Rogers

it’s been your videos I stumbled over on YouTube, a week or two before I found Banjo Hangout, that convinced me that—if I’d really begin to delve into the Banjo—I’d want to do it with the 5-string Cello Banjo.
Meanwhile I’ve contacted you, our correspondence has been a great pleasure and I’m extremely happy that I decided to purchase from you, especially with all the extra setup and information that you so generously granted. I guess I’m gonna call it the “CEB-5 plus” :-D
ETA is next week, and I’m sitting in a puddle of saliva, listening to hours and hours of music here, and also to many of your beautiful MP3s, immersing myself in the world of Banjo tunes …
I need to thank you for a LOT more than just for a good deal—you’re a lighthouse in the dark, you’re a waterhole and signpost in the desert, you’re a friendly ferryman helping me over to the other side :-)
Greetings from Tom in Germany

Thank you very much, Tom. I sincerely hope your musical dreams come true on the cello banjo. It's most gratifying to hear that my cello banjo mission has made a convert! I've sent your comments to Wayne Rogers, president of Gold Tone whom I'm sure will be appreciative as well. All I can say about your statement, "I need to thank you for a LOT more than just for a good deal—you’re a lighthouse in the dark, you’re a waterhole and signpost in the desert, you’re a friendly ferryman helping me over to the other side :-)" is WOW! That pretty huge - and speaks to a sense of fulfillment for me. Glad we could help each other out.
