I've go tmy old Grover banjo at home here, only on a temp basis as Richard is re-housing. I think he has given it to me to clean and put new strings on it. So I'll do that soon (a job I hate)!.
Many people have asked me about my old Grover, saying if you ever want to sell it, but, no I gave it to Richard, I asked him out of all my banjos which one did he want, he chose the Grover. I must admit it has an awesome sound as everyone keeps telling me. I do miiss it but I see and hear it a lot on gigs, even though Richard has his Janis banjo now too, that's a cracker too, or maybe it's the fact that Richard is just an awesome picker.
If you've not seen Richard Lee pick, then come to The East Anglian Bluegrass Festival 22/23/24 June 2012 he will be there and we Broad Oak Bluegrass Band are playing Friday night concert. :)
