I think I'd prefer a solo Jim on banjo cd with the only other musicians possibly being other banjo players. I think that would be unique and I'd definitely pick up a copy from you.

I want mine signed, too, with lots of vintage solo jim reed, plus some of you with other pickers, but mostly you. You might even have a bonus track with your best instructional lessons like you began on the forum. Photos in the liner notes would be mighty nice, too.

I think you and maybe a little guitar or mando playing the chords would be cool. Like most, I'm more interested in Reed-style pickin. I'd love to order a copy! A signed cover from thee Jim Reed would make my year.

I would prefer solo tunes and some tunes with just one other instruments like guitar or fiddle. I really like hearing your banjo all the time and wouldn't want it to get lost in the background with a big band. With just one other instrument your banjo would be audible all the time and I think it would be very interesting to hear your interplay and counter point with one other instrument. I really enjoy hearing backup but too often it gets lost.
Thanks for asking.

Banjo and guitar. The guitar really fills out the sounds and provides a solid chordal foundation and tonality without getting in the banjos dynamic range. Just a good solid rhythm guitar would be great.
But a solo banjo CD will not get any resistance from me!
I recently started listening to your stuff after reading the article on the banjo hangout. Really nice playing, great control and unique phrasing & arrangements. Keep it up!
