had a family reunion last weekend wish i would have brung the banjo but i just dont have the confidence yet to play in front of anyone other than the fam at the house my girlfriend says it sounds good and way better then the clammering that went on before. she actually sings along to the tune so i must be doin something right. my uncle always plays something at the git togethers but mostly just him and his guitar. i have a great uncle that plays banjo ,guitar, fiddle, and other musical instruments ive played the banjo with him playin guitar and with my playin and his it really sounded good to me he says i did fine but then he grabs the banjo and plays so fast i cant keep up. i think i should get in some jam cessions with others that like playing banjos or the music i think it would help me a lot. i almost feel that i am at a stand still with the tab thing. anyways the weather is great and its time to get the boat on the river bout the only place that aint dried up. there is a truck ive seen runnin around town with a big banjo picker sign on his back window maybe they know a little about it . might try to flag them down one day and ask if they have a place to jam with others.
