Love, peace and banjo picking

Posted by Camo Girl on Wednesday, October 19, 2011

Hey everyone!! I have been very busy lately.  I got a new job and have been working almost every evening.  I work in a ice cream and coffee shop.  I really enjoy it.  The only thing I struggle with is the coffee drinks because i never drink coffee or any of them fancy hot drinks lol but I enjoy serving the ice cream.  I have been deer hunting when I can.  Sunday I got a doe.  I hope to go more this coming weekend.  The weather has taken a turn for the worst here.  Its wet, cold and windy.  I hope everyone is staying warm and enjoying their picking.  Cherish every moment you have the banjo in your hands.  I realized that now that I'm at college and have no time to play, I dont even have time to pick around on the guitar anymore.  So smile and enjoy it!!!! If we all smile and love what we do the earth would be a better place!! God Bless!!

So much wisdom for such a young person.......heck it got me to thinking and your right Mallory I will enjoy every moment of picking I can get in its all about having fun and enjoying life while you are here and making great friends along the way. I have met a lot of good people on here and Donie Gill is one of the many as are you. Now I am off work today so after running errands I will be picking and trying to stay warm its to cold for this time of year.Gotta love Illinois weather

Wow. You made my day! Good to know there are young ladies like yourself still around. Got a renewed faith in the future of this great country now. Hope my daughter has the same outlook on life as you when she grows up. All the best in college. I have always said money ain't everything-love what you do. Wish I took my own advice. Congrats on the doe. Got one myself last week. Turkey season starts tomorrow.
