Well I'm all moved in and I have met my roommate. She is friendly but its very obvious that we come from totally different backgrounds. I'm very happy I brought my tv with me. It has been raining all day and there is nothing to do. Tomorrow my friend and her roommate are moving in, I met her at orientation a few weeks ago. Luckily her dorm room is just a few doors down from mine. I feel really cramped in my room. I got here last so I got the small side of the room where the bathroom wall takes up a good 5-6 feet of much needed extra space. But I cant blame her if I would have gotten here first I would have done the same thing. I forgot shampoo and so did my roommate. Its very depressing because I pretty sure thats the thing I kept thinking I was forgetting. My mom said she is probly going to come up again tonight and bring me all the other stuff I forgot. I feel horrible having her run it all to me because its a hour and a half drive to get up here. But I also think she likes having the excuse to come up here. I hope all s well and God Bless:-)

Enjoy your college experience and I'm sure you and your roommate will become good friends maybe you can get her into banjo playing. I'm sure your mom and dad will miss you and will find plenty of excuses to come visit. Take care and have a great time :)

Enjoy your new adventure! Remember, if what you are doing was easy everyone would be doing it.

I've got a feeling 'MOM' would have come up anyway. Get your roommate drunk and have her sign a paper saying she really wants you to take the best half of the room. haha

Nothing to do?? Practice the jo. HeHe, many great players got that way by practicing hour upon hour during their free time they had in college. Something many of us working daily out in the world do not have. Take advantage of your whole college experience, these are exceptional times of your life. Good luck.

Best wishes in your college experience. It's a bit daunting at first but you will have a great time, and yeah, not everyone can do it.
