at the moment i still like gr pa Jones and ralph stanley
There are szo many good ones, some of the ones i listened to years ago would come come back into my favor if i take time out to research them

Probably easier to list top 100 Claw2hammer players: eg Rebecca Weiler, Leroy Troy. uncle dave macon, uncle dave daugherty, dan levenson, oldwoodchuck, Phillip Steinmetz, and many of my friends here on BHO,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,.

all of em!! lol...I dunno...I like so many. Currently I am listening to a frailer from Surrey County NC named Kirk Sutphin...he learned from the likes of Fred Cockerham and Tommy Jarrel...he has a fretless banjo with a formica fingerboard. He is a "round-peak" style frailer

yup, i saw david holt interview kirk, definitely a great sounding banjo and technique (a young feller)
