I got to attend The Paul Bunyan boy scout ranch with my son this year for a very hot week in July. During that week, two others with guitars and myself on banjo played and sang songs we knew together in the evenings when we were all done with the days tasks. I had a great time sharing what I knew and learning what they knew in the ways of music. When playing one could almost forget about the bugs that would nearly carry you away at night in the woods of northern lower Michigan. The folks we played for seemed to greatly enjoy themselves also.
