New Song:
A Banjo Player Is A Lonely Man
A banjo player is a lonely man
With a brittle sound no one understands
Never been described as Heavenly light
It tests the nerves with a sound so bright
I’m working hard to do the best I can
Banjo player is a lonely man
Saturday night, I’m alone again
Wishing I had just single friend
Open up the window start to play
Everyone wishing I would go away
Picking on the porch looking at the moon
Hound dog howling right in tune
Cats on the fence in the blue black night
Screeching at me in the pale moon light

Good one Greg, "I hear ya" It's lonely here on L.I. trying to find anyone who gives Banjo lessons or instructions. "HELP!!!" Good poem though. Well done.

Yeah your right. We have to go to the basement or to the bedroom
to practice so we don't disturb anybody. But when company comes over the wife says why don't you get out your banjo and play it for them. Yeah right! The banjo man sure is a lonely man. Good poem!
