Ross Nickerson will be teaching his first-ever BHO group workshop this Sunday, May 1st, from 2-3:30 PST. Cost is only $20 to register. Ross is a top-notch player and teacher, so if this topic interests you, be sure to sign up! 10 seats left as of right now.
The workshop will target reducing dependency on tablature, learning to play by ear, how to play a song using the chords, memorization and recovering from mistakes. One of the lessons Ross will attack is how to most effectively learn a song from tablature, saving you valuable practice time while teaching you techniques for developing your skills without tablature.
Other subjects covered will be exercises, developing muscle memory, finding the melody notes and other helpful tips. Students who attend this workshop should come away with a much clearer understanding of what to practice, how to practice and the ability to play steady complete songs.
Best for beginning and intermediate students who have been practicing at least 6 months. Be prepared to take notes, and recording is encouraged.

Excellent. Learned much about chord changes and playing up the neck and getting away from tab.
