It's finally here. It took nearly four weeks from the initial order date, but that's allright. I'd rather it be built right than built fast. I've posted a few pics for all to see. I was a little surprised at how light weight the instrument is. However, the sound is incredible and has a lot of volume. I impressed at the detail that Michael Fox and team did on the inlay. Great job and very beautiful. I've been invited to play behind a storyteller friend of mine at the upcoming Texas Folk Festival in San Antonio. He's going to be telling a series of Cowboy stories. I'm going to learn some old Cowboy Songs and play them softly with my Dulcijo. I'll look forward to feedback that I get from those that attend the festival
I like to play clawhammer over the neck just beyond where the neck meets the drum. It's with that in mind that I asked Michael to set up the action. However, after hearing the sound from the middle of the drum, I'm not sure now which I like best. Great job, Michael Fox.

Congratulations on the new instrument! By the way, beautiful grandbabies you've got there. :-)
