I have been playing since - roughly - June of 2010. And here are the songs I practice....
After I wrote them out and I was surprised I have that many. Granted they are NOT perfect - but rather the songs I am practicing. They are far from being ready for a "public performance."

Are you trying to not look at the tab and really learning them?
Close the book, close your eyes and see if you can play, without looking.

Yes, Lynn, that is my goal. Pulling myself away from the tabs as soon as possible. I can on some songs already. Working on the rest. It is a cool feeling to pick up the banjo and just PLAY!

It's really amazing how many songs we know when we list them out. Good selection.
