Well i played the new bowtie today and it sounds muddy. but what would i expect for a 44 year old banjo with the same strings on it as when it was new. so i went and ordered some goodies from janet davis music. new Gibson head,new snuffy smith bridge 5/8,new GHS 150 strings,thumb picks extra large, finger picks,
