In La Silla Chili astronomers have discovered a new planet outside our universe that could possibly have habitability much like our Earth. They believe it could have water and temperatures close to what we have here.
There is however a slight difference in gravity. If you weigh 150 lbs. here you would come in slightly higher at 240.My wife will never agree to making the move I can tell you that now!
Another potential problem is it is 120 trillion miles from Earth.Unless we can beam ourselves like Captain Kirk we would only be able to make a very small part of the trip before our life expectancy became an issue.Let's say we found a way to get there. What would a long distance call cost if you wanted to check on relatives and friends who decided to tough it out here?
The cost of fuel keeps going up here on Earth.Around here they sometimes change the sign as you pump. How on Earth could we afford a ticket for a trip that far
What about housing? The Home Depot and Lowes wouldn't deliver that far. What would we do? I doubt if Dominoes Pizza would either.Maybe they have trees there.Maybe there are life forms there already. The sun they have is weak compared to ours.It is I believe a dwarf red star.We could be of help by showing them how we warm our own globe at home I guess.
All things considered I feel like until we can do a little better right here there is little sense in taking our problems to a different planet. They say you can run away from everything but yourself.
I would be embarassed if I got there and found they all got along and loved each other.Never had a war.Nobody went hungry everyone was cherished no matter their color or age or statis.
If we could achieve all that why would anybody want to leave in the first place? I think I'll stay where The Good Lord put me and try to do a little something to make this planet one that folks don't mind staying on. As if I could afford the gas to go anyway!
