Hi Greg, I recognize the bridge. Quite unique in the USA. Maybe there is a song in "Lift Bridge over Gitchigoomie." :) Gordon Lightfoot would be proud. :)

AVAST! yer blog sez "sailin' the high seas"... but far as I can tell yer niether sailin' (main'sil down and no jib) and those seas be calm, skip. Now this DOG of the sea has been out many o'time during small craft advisories with me main reefed and me storm job up... with one rail down and salty sea spray over the other... so I know what I be talkin' 'bout. Oh, I almost never used a motor to leave or return to me dock... or a bouy. That not be sailin' mate... that thar be LOLLY-GAGGIN' HAR!!!!
