I know Roy has a few banjos but the one he played in Columbia, MS March 11th was a great sounding banjo. He said it was originally a 1930s tenor that he bought in 1965. I stood there in front of him and
he played for about 15 minutes and we talked. I have that tone in my head now. Can't even describe it.
He is with Lizzie Long now and having some great shows.
