... at Old Town School of Folk Music in Chicago. It will cover bluegrass banjo melodic and single-string playing. Banjo Hangout buddies pointed me there. Y'all know who you are. I've e-mailed you. Thanks again. Two hours for $35 with a local and internationally loved banjo player, performer, and teacher, and I'm giddy with excitement. I think I'll follow through in advance with the Keith Bauman advice to put $35 in upgrades onto my banjo with a geared fifth-string tuner and replace my 0.5-inch stock bridge with a 0.5-inch Snuffy Smith. -- Make that $150 Iida sound like at least a $185 Iida. I was able to yank the friction fifth peg out last night, no problem. I know I might need a reamer that I don't have but I think I'll make due.
