At the risk of turning my Banjo Hangout Blog into an ad, I want to post some info about a new banjo album we just released. I've put a couple of tracks up on the Music page and Videos - so there are some samples if yuo have an interest.

LONESTAR BANJO is available right now at CDBaby and will be available at all of the MP3 Services soon too, if it's not there already.

This is a compilation album but most of it is new to CD release. There are some tracks I've recorded for film and TV projects, along with some demo tracks for future film/TV projects. There are some remixes and a couple tracks from previous albums. You can review the list in detail at CDBaby and click the "preview all songs" button at the bottom of the CDBaby page and hear a taste of each track/

I love this album - and I hope you will too. The continuous thread lashing it all together is banjo. Banjo is central to every track. The styles range from folk and bluegrass to Celtic and Cowboy. There are songs and tunes - original and traditional. I believe it is an album you'll want to listen to over and over and play from start to finish every time!

Hey Jed-
We ordered the new CD. Can't wait to hear it. The deal is... if the Cowboys beat the Vikings in the playoff game today then Linda has to pay for it... if the Vikings win then I have to pay. I never thought I'd say this but... Go Cowboys!!
