Our gig last night was good, good crowd made some loot, sold a few more cd`s got some folks dancing. Well my new banjo has arrived, but yesterday when UPS came a knockin` they wanted $321.05 YIKES!! I guess it`s the sales taxes etc... wasn`t expecting it to be that much. So of course I didn`t have that kind of coin laying around so I asked the driver where he`d be in an hour, who knows was his reply. Asked if he had a phone I could call and come track him down, nope. Says I`ll have to go to the depot after 5pm to pick up. I raced off to the bank and when I came home the UPS truck was parked the next block up the street, what luck. So I head down there and park in front of the truck and wait for him to come out of wherever he`s at, and wait, and wait. I guess he either lives right there or is visiting a friend. Over an hour has passed and the driver finaly appears, It``s a different guy!! Waited over an hour and it`s a different UPS guy, what are the chances. Really want the new Jo, suspense is killing me. I got tide up and could`t head over to depot until 7pm, CLOSED TIL MONDAY! So close but yet so far.
